About Us

Sam Giganti

Sam graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 2003 with a certification in Clinical Massage Therapy. Upon completing the program, Sam began his clinical practice while also teaching and supervising students at ASM. Sam later added to his credentials and experience by obtaining his personal training certification from ISSA in 2010. With his background as both a clinical massage therapist and certified fitness trainer, Sam can offer clients an experience that very few can. He has an in-depth knowledge of the human body especially in the areas of anatomy and physiology and is skilled at applying his training to real life scenarios.

Sam has been able to successfully coach clients in the areas of nutrition (disclaimer: he is not diagnosing, treating or claiming to cure specific conditions) and lifestyle as well due to his own personal experience. In 2007, after the birth of his son, Sam was 70 lbs overweight and had severe metabolic issues forming including pre-diabetes and hypertension. By implementing a nutrient-dense paleo style of eating, Sam lost all the weight by the end of 2008 and has kept it off ever since without effort. And most importantly, his metabolic health improved dramatically. Quality sleep, lots of sun and good light exposure, healthy forms of movement and stress reduction are all also part of Sam’s regimen.

Maija Giganti

Maija obtained her Primal Health Coach Certification from Mark Sisson’s Primal Health Coach Institute in early 2019. Her health journey began after the birth of her son in 2007. After years of dealing with depression, blood sugar issues (PCOS), hormonal issues and chronic fatigue, she realized that changes needed to happen. Working with a trio of qualified practitioners (an integrative doctor, a chiropractor and a naturopath) she was able to get initial answers to underlying issues. Diet change (to a paleo template) was a huge first step – by getting lots of good fats and avoiding grains and sugars, many symptoms improved rapidly. Toxicity had to be addressed as well. This included getting rid of toxic products, ongoing processes to detox the body from years of exposures and supporting methylation. As time has progressed, Maija has focused more and more on other aspects of health such as proper forms of exercise, good sleep, stress reduction, sun and red light exposure, mitochondrial function, EMF reduction, improving mindset and spending time in nature.
